Donations to the Georgia Innocence Project

The Georgia Innocence Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Your monetary donations to GIP are fully tax deductible.

GIP operates with just two full-time employees and relies on individual contributions, grants and fundraising events to raise its annual budget. General donations to GIP pay for operating costs, case investigation, and litigation.

GIP also has a Life After Exoneration Fund. Donations made to this fund are used to help exonerees rebuild their lives by assisting them financially with short-term needs such as housing and transportation.

GIP has recently partnered with American Express. Through its GivingExpressSM program, you can earn Amex points. To donate through the GivingExpressSM program, click here.

We also accept donations through the Network for Good system. Click on the logo below to make a donation through a secure online site.
